My Summary of the Story:
Sienna, seems to be dumb and shallow to everyone around her, she holds a tremendous amount of guilt for what happened to Asya, her twin sister (Fractured Souls), and her parents a long time ago. Her Don, Salvatore Ajello, arranged a marriage for her to Drago, a Serbian Crime Leader so she could be a spy for him. Sienna accepts as she thinks marrying a stranger is better than being alone. Drago who is immediately against the idea of marrying a girl who is half of his age, sees that she is more than what she presents herself as. He is intrigued by her and agrees to marry her, even when he’s aware that she was sent to spy on him. What he didn’t expect was that Sienna seemed to be bewitching everyone around her, including him…..
My Thoughts:
Sienna is definitely the best girl from this series, I love her questionable fashion sense and the way she keeps everyone under her sparkling little toes. Behind her perfect smile, she is hiding her pain and it’s heartbreaking when she finally tells Drago. I mean Drago falls first and hard, but she's in denial city, so adamant that she just found him fascinating, yeah girl, you keep telling yourself that.😏
I love Drago "My Wife" Popov as the hero, he is tortured and willing to sacrifice himself for his family. He sees right through her and knows that he’s got a beautiful and smart wife. He is crazy about Sienna, and oh, so possessive. I mean who gives his wife precious gemstones worth millions as a pen holder? Gauge random men's eyes for ogling his wife? I will never look at spoon the same way again. And the way he adores his wife's taste in fashion? Get me a man who bought me extravagant clothes and shoes!
I also love the family that Sienna gained by marrying Drago, she comes from fearing to be alone to get 40+ new family members, and they are all smitten by her, including the dogs! It was such a good read, even for the second time in less than a month! And the epilogue.....! It's so cute, they had 3 daughters who are all carbon copies of their mother, and they even wore matching jumpsuits, my heart is so full. Poor Drago is now a whipped-up husband and daddy, he's completely ruled by these ladies.
We get a glimpse of Arturo and Tara's (Drago's sister) possible arranged marriage by Salvatore (yeah, he should open a dating agency for the Cosa Nostra family😂). But at this point, now the series getting closer to 2 digits, I doubt that Arturo will get his own book, or Angelo for that matter (not fair with how much he got abused in this series, if you're a fan, you know what I'm talking about😅). But these little crumbs are enough for me, Arturo deserves everything after what his sisters did to him.
I’m looking forward to seeing Nera and Kai for the next book. A woman as leader of Cosa Nostra? Yesss please 👏👏👏
