Rules,

I know them,

But I didn’t follow them.

I moved into his city, his domain without approval.

And now, it’s time for me to pay the price.

Marry the cold, calculating Don of La Cosa Nostra,

The man who many have never seen-or could recognize,

And be bound to the mafia forever.

But when he comes to collect me,

I realize that this isn’t the first time we’ve met.

Salvatore

Nothing amazes me anymore.

I’ve seen and done too much.

Until her.

She’s an anomaly,

Living in poverty,

In MY city,

Without approval.

I’m drawn to her in ways I never imagined.

She ignites me and intrigues me.

I want more than stolen touches.

I want it all.

And what Salvatore Ajello wants, he takes.

*Stolen Touches is a full-length novel with several open-door steamy scenes, no cheating and a guaranteed HEA.

This is the fifth book in Perfectly Imperfect mafia series. Each book in this series features a different couple and can be read as a standalone, but for maximum enjoyment, follow the recommended reading order.

My Summary of the Story:

Milene Scardoni is the youngest sister of a Chicago Capo who sneaks into the New York Cosa Nostra territory to finish her internship as a nurse, as it has the best hospital, she also plans to leave the Cosa Nostra life behind once and for all. She lives in a dump with her cat, surviving on her mere income as a nurse, and refuses to use money from her family. One day she met Salvatore Ajello, the Don of New York Cosa Nostra himself, but she had no idea. Salvatore knows who Milene is, but instead of sending her back to Chicago, he immediately becomes obsessed with her and starts stalking her obsessively. When the Irish start attacking Ajello and Milene is caught in the middle of it, he thinks the best way to protect her is to marry her. He contacts Luca Rossi to arrange their marriage instead of punishing her for sneaking into his territory. Milene was enraged when she found out that her wish to leave the Cosa Nostra was no longer possible, and she had to marry the Don, even more so, that Don is Salvatore, the guy she knows as Kurt. She went from being attracted to him to loathing him, determined to make his life as difficult as she can, but with Tore determined to seduce her with his “stolen touches”, it’s only a matter of time before she gives in…..

My Thoughts:

This series just keeps getting better with each release, I love Tore and Milene so much, their meet-cute is definitely the highlight of this book. Seeing Milene in previous books, so young and carefree, I would never thought she would be paired up with Salvatore, the notorious Don of New York. I love that she has a dream and is driven to achieve it. Milene is very stubborn, she fights hard for her freedom to be freed from the Cosa Nostra. She tries to ignore her feelings for Tore, though she fails miserably. Tore is completely besotted by her from their first meeting, though his obsession is unhealthy. I’m not into stalker romance, Tore has OCD which made him have an inexplicable urge to know what Milene is doing at all times, for me that’s very stalkerish. Tore reminds me so much of Christian Harper from Twisted Lies, which I also don’t like, they are too creepy. Following their woman obsessively is not the kind of romantic act that I find attractive. Tore has to watch Milene from the camera so often, WITHOUT her knowledge, which is not okay for me, everyone got their icks, I guess this is mine. But he kinda makes it up by shedding tears for Milene! (I’m a sucker for a crying guy) This is the only reason I took out 0.25 from the rating, to otherwise a great book I very much enjoy.

⚠️Trigger Warning⚠️

  • M*rder, Vi*lence, G*re
  • St*lker Behaviour
  • OCD

There are like 4 Bonus Scenes for this book, turned out this was the author’s favorite in the series, there are none for the previous and following books after this, I wish she released more….

You can download these short stories from the link below, and read in this order:

Kurt - Download Here

It's a short story from Kurt the cat’s POV, turns out he does hate Tore for stealing Milene, he called him “The Mean One”. Oh, and he called Riggs, the other cat the "Replacement", and apparently he doesn't like him either.

In this one, Milene is contemplating on the best way to inform her husband that she is pregnant

And this one when Milene finally told him the news, and super protective Daddy Tore mode is ON and he’s unhinged

And this is during Milene’s labor and he’s a tyrant at the hospital, oh Daddy Tore, what are you doing?
