Melanie Moreland! This is my second book from her and both have drowned me in tears of joy, she wrote so beautifully it tugged on my heart. Honestly, a few pages into the book and my eyes are glassy, by the time I almost reach the end of the book, I have bawled my eyes out. The book wasn’t too angsty, what made me tear up was their beautiful connection, and the pain and loneliness they experienced before they found each other. These two are so used to being alone and they finally find that person who made them feel at “Home”.
Rosie, who’s had a painful past of being abandoned by her baby’s daddy and her parents, is very hesitant to accept Asher, fearing that he will eventually abandon her and AJ too. What she sacrificed for little AJ as a mother is really heartbreaking, she lives and breathes for that boy. And Little AJ is just the cutest boy ever, sometimes little kids can be annoying in books, but Melanie wrote him as a sweet adorable little boy and I can’t get enough of him. Asher is so patient and persistent in showing Rose that they are perfect for each other. I love it when the hero falls first and harder, and he loves AJ like his own.

This was the sweetest love story I have ever read so far, they get together pretty quickly so I was dreading for something bad to happen, but nope, it was all fluffy goodness till the end, and the epilogue is so darn cute! I adore this book so much, it’s the perfect feel-good comforting story to read for the holiday!
